Identification of Valid Parking Spaces

  • VALID PARKING SPACE: Park your vehicle in a valid parking space, between two white parallel parking stall lines. Do not park on or over the line (regardless of how others park) and do not create or add a space in areas that are not designated by two white parallel parking stall lines.
  • NO PARKING AREAS: Parking is not permitted in areas not identified as a valid parking space (see definition above). These areas do not require signage, and often are unmarked.
  • SMALL/COMPACT CAR: The vehicle must be no larger than 175 L x 68 W x 57 H and must fit within the white stall lines and boundaries designated by the white dashed line. No trucks, SUV's, wagons, Jeeps or mini vans due to height and/or length restrictions allowed. This is to allow Parkers in the garage better visibility around these spaces.

Driver Responsibility

  • FINDING AUTHORIZED SPACE: Parkers are responsible for finding an authorized parking space. Mechanical problems, inclement weather or other vehicular disabilities do not justify parking violations.
  • SPACE AVAILABILITY: A parking permit does not guarantee the Parker a parking space, but only an opportunity to park within a specified area or areas.
  • STORAGE OF ABANDONED/DERELICT VEHICLES: The Globe reserves the right to tow vehicles that remain on Globe property in an inoperative, derelict or abandoned condition and/or vehicles that are not in compliance with state regulations.

Speed Limit

The maximum speed in parking garages is 10 mph .

Reserved Parking Spaces

Parking is restricted 24 hours/day, seven days a week for reserved spaces. Warning/violation will be issued and tows will occur if vehicles are parked in these signed spaces more than two times.

Motorcycles

Motorcycles have the same restrictions as all other vehicles. They must be parked in a valid parking space. The motorcycle must not obstruct an aisle in any way nor can the motorcycle obstruct or hinder parking in adjacent parking stalls. Motorcycles cannot park on drive ways, or in hashed areas.

Removal and Impoundment

The Globe is authorized to remove or impound motor vehicles from Globe Building property AT OWNER'S EXPENSE when the vehicle is in violation of the parking regulations and outlined violations for towable offenses.

The tow fee is currently $250.00 but is subject to change depending on the availability of the vendor providing the towing service. Special equipment or circumstances may increase the charge. A "drop" fee is charged in situations where the tow truck is hooked-up to the vehicle, but still on Globe Building property. A daily storage fee is charged if the vehicle is not reclaimed by the owner.

Immediate Tow

  • Derelict/abandoned vehicles.
  • Blocking/hindering traffic in an aisle way or non-parking area. The vehicle must be blocking, not just extending the aisle. These vehicles must be impeding the flow of traffic or blocking cars so that they cannot exit their spaces.
  • Parking in areas restricted by traffic cones, barricades or other traffic control devices.
  • Parking in loading zones, building entrances/exit, garage or service entrances/exits, crosswalks, construction sites.

Violation/Warning

  • Parking in an invalid space. Refers to extending the aisle by one space or parked in a hash marked spot in the corner of the garage/lot.
  • Parking over the stall line.
  • Parking in reserved, client and commercial parking spaces. These spaces are marked by signage and are enforced 24 hours/7days a week.
  • Parking in small car only space. Vehicle must be no larger than 175”L x 68”W x 57”H.

The Globe Building Company will assume no responsibility for loss by theft or any damages that occur at this location. Parker hereby waives any claim against the Globe Building Company, its officers or employees for theft or damage to Parker vehicle, or personal injury, that arise out of or related to this agreement or which occur on Globe Property.
