The community-wide energy being generated by the Next NGA West Campus under construction just five blocks north of downtown St. Louis, is exceeding all expectations. The new campus is located in the north side regeneration development area with its planned geoid village, and is connected to downtown St. Louis via the five-block long gigabyte corridor, which is anchored by three important properties; the Globe Building, a seven-story, 725,000 square foot concrete and steel art deco building renovated into a unique urban technology hub; the newly renovated 250,000 square foot offices for Square; and T-REX, the region's premier technology startup incubator. Nestled in resurgent downtown St. Louis, the Globe Building is at the center of the emerging St. Louis geospatial intelligence ecosystem. Recently two leading geospatial intelligence companies, MAXAR and T-Kartor USA moved operations into the Globe Building and several other geoid companies are in advanced discussions with building ownership.

The Globe Building is a futuristically transformed 1920s architectural gem that previously supported NGAs' World War Two era predecessor, the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center, and has uniquely scaled from its industrial roots to supporting world-class, high availability data center and high-tech office environments, by offering redundant utility feeds and fiber from 12 different broadband providers.

The building boasts stunning aesthetic features, contiguous floor plates of up to 84,000 square feet, and over 500 secure underground parking spaces. St. Louis has a long-standing appreciation of these specific requirements for geoid mission success. The Globe Building with its unique technology infrastructure and high availability support for large data center and office tenants will proudly continue to play its part in the regional effort to attract and house the geospatial intelligence workforce of today and tomorrow.
