  • The Globe Building has the on-site power and other infrastructure to handle your business’ power and cooling needs. It features updated electrical power with brand new, dedicated Ameren UE basement substation and three diverse, 13.8 kV utility feeds, with true “A+B” utility power available. The building is currently served with 17.5 MW of redundant utility electricity, and has the capability of adding 20 MW or more in less than 18 months.

    With more than 40,000 SF available on the rooftop, the building provides abundant roof space for cooling support equipment and wireless transmission.

  • The Globe’s Meet Me Room offers tenants, carriers, and data centers the ability to interconnect in a shared, carrier-neutral environment without incurring local loop fees.

    The large, climate-controlled Meet Me Room with UPS- backed power provides diverse fiber paths throughout the building and supports multiple fiber providers. Meet Me Room space is available for up to 100 23” cabinets.

    Individual point of presence (POP) sites are available for carriers. These dedicated spaces range from 900 SF to several thousand SF. All Globe Building data centers have cabinets within the Meet Me Room, as well as numerous carriers and dark fiber providers.

  • The Globe Building retains a full-time staff, including six maintenance personnel who understand the building and its infrastructure. All staff members are trained to work effectively with the occupants of high availability environments and with outside contractors and vendors.

  • Our redundant fiber entrances, multiple vertical risers, and Meet Me Room allow for efficient and cost-effective inside plant build-outs and cross-connections to any carrier or facility in the Globe Building.

  • A dedicated Ameren Union Electric basement substation and the three (3) diverse, 13.8 kV utility feeds support the "high availability" needs of the building’s 5 data centers and resident businesses. This "always on the grid" capability makes the Globe Building and its spaces unique among any other office or innovation space in the region.

    The existing power utility room at the Globe Building is presently fed with enough capacity to support another 7.5 MW of 3-phase, 480v power. An additional 20 MW or more of primary power can be delivered in less than 18 months.

    Diverse building conduits and five oversized risers running the height of the building are available to accommodate any and all communication, cooling, and power infrastructure.
